You can manage bird visit notifications through the Parallens app and your phone's notification settings.
1. Phone permissions: Allow notifications for Parallens in your phone’s system settings.
2. App notifications: Go to Me > Settings > Notification Settings and turn on Notification. You can also turn it off here if you no longer want app notifications.
3. Camera notification filter: Open your camera’s Settings in app > Notifications and check Bird Detection Only. When it is on, only events recognized as birds trigger notifications, so a visit that is not recognized as a bird may not generate an alert. If you're using AI Smart Alerts, also review your selected bird species and notification preferences.
4. Connection status: Make sure the camera is online and your phone has an internet connection.
To view notifications from all your devices, tap the notification icon in the upper-right corner of Home page.
If notifications still do not arrive, contact support@parallens.com with the visit time and screenshots of your notification settings.
